How to create chart of accounts

- To access the Chart of Accounts from the sidebar, click on ‘Chart of Accounts’ under the Accounts section.
Chart of Accounts
- By default, the system sets up account heads for you. You do not need to enter any account heads manually. You cannot delete or edit them.
- By default, the system creates some parent and child accounts under predefined account heads to assist you. These default accounts cannot be edited or deleted. However, you may manually add your own parent or child accounts under the predefined account heads as needed. Manually added accounts can be edited or deleted.
Add chart of account
- From the Chart of Accounts page, you can access the Add Account page.

- Click the 'Add Account' button to add parent or child accounts.

- If you are adding a parent account, enter the account name in the 'Account Name' field and select the appropriate account head from the 'Account Type' section.

- Click the 'Submit' button to add the child account.

Edit account
- You can only edit the parent and child accounts that you have created.on.
- From the Chart of Accounts page, you can access the Edit Account page.

- From the Chart of Accounts page, click the 'Edit' icon to access the Edit Account page.

- Click 'Update' to save changes on the Chart of Accounts page.
Delete account
- You can only delete the parent and child accounts that you have created.

- From the Chart of Accounts page, click the 'Delete' icon to access the delete Account page.

- Click 'Yes, delete it' to confirm deletion. To cancel, click 'No, don’t delete' or click outside the confirmation box.
